March 4th 2011 is World Day of Prayer. "How Many Loaves Have You?" Plan to join the women of the Fox Chapel Community at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. for the World Day of Prayer service lead by the women of the Christian Churches in the Fox Chapel Community. This year the service, "How Many Loaves Have You", written by the women of Chile, asks us to reflect on the gifts we are given and how we can share them. Our speaker, Peggy Urzua, has worked at the National Tuberculosis Clinic in Chile and is married to a Chilean. She will offer interesting insights into the daily life in Chile. Following the service a light lunch will be served in the church atrium. Plan to come, bring a friend and stay for lunch! It is always a rewarding day as we share time with our neighbors and learn about Christians in other countries. We are especially seeking readers for the worship service and singers for the choir. Men are warmly invited to join us in the service, the choir and lunch following. We hope to see you there. Free child care will be available. If you plan to attend and or need childcare, please call Ruby in the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church office at 412-963-8243. If you have questions or would like to help please call Christine Bennett at 412-828-1123.
