The designated item for January and February is "Soup for Kids". During these COLD months, we need to warm the bellies of the kids. Most of the soup we receive from the donations and the Pittsburgh food bank are cream soups. These are great for stretching meals, but kids just don't like them. Their favorites are chicken noodle, tomato, wedding soup, or the actual kids soups. (stars, alphabet, Sponge Bob etc).

We depend on the churches and private donations for items not available to purchase from the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. As stated above, we rarely get the soup children prefer such as chicken noodle. Thank you for your monthly contributions. We appreciate your support in enriching the lives of children.
